Ian Whitbourn has been associated with the club for over 50 years. He started playing as a Junior in the mid-sixties. He has held many leadership positions within the Club, both on and off the field.
Ian is a former winner of the prestigious Vaile Cup on no less than three occasions and was made a Life Member in 1989 in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the club.
The Ian Whitbourn Cup has been presented to the highest goalthrower since 1981. Coincidently, his sons Andrew and Tim have both been recipients of this award.
