Jan and John Barlow first became involved with the Club as parents of Junior players in 1992. As their children progressed into Senior teams, they became conscious of the fact that it would be beneficial to have extra “Most Improved” awards. It was decided that The Everest Cups would revert to be awarded to males, and the Barlow Cups would be for females. The Cups were first presented in 2004.
John and Jan have had held many Service positions with the Club, have both been Presidents and are both now Life Members.
